Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by giants. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting giants, the young Bernard began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Patrick and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Carpenter. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
