History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Roland was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: Manfred lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Adelard was born the youngest of three triplets. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Guy abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
