History: He comes from a rich southern family. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He's also a talented Soapmaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: This man wears a black coat over a grey low-cut shirt, and a top hat upon his head. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. Reynard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Doctor responsibilities is difficult.
