History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Everard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Aldous is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His first spouse was a Engraver, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against illithids
