History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Actor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Rolf is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Rolf lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Rolf was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Rolf's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
