He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Theobald has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
