History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His childhood dream was to be a Ruler, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: John lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
