He prefers to carry a bow, but if one is not available he will default to his greatsword, and his gloved hand is found clutching a greatsword. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy golden hair. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: John wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Expert, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born in the west to a Painter, John learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Peter was raised in a hard working conservative environment. After coming to the age of reason, Peter took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His black hair has been sun bleached extensively. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a great chef.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
