History: Everard hails from a village terrorized by orcs. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Hunter. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Aldous hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Aldous was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
