History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

History: He was born into a rich family. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bather for hire.

Description: This malnourished man wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with tan colored cloaks and clothing. His long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His skin is flawless and his green eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Lance is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Being a Fortune-teller kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Gilbert was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Crown-heir. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
