History: Adelard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Adelard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
