When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He got into the Stableman business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Sculptor, but he got bored and became a Stableman. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to pay off his debts

History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by drow. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
