History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Alexandre reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a shield on his belt. He wears his black hair up. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his small black hat.

Personality: Roland speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roland grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Roland abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Description: He wears a grey vest and prefers blue and red shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He is portly but not overly obese. His black hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
