Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Bricklayer business.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Manfred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and retire the richest man in the west

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
