Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His childhood dream was to be a Doctor, but he was a colossal failure. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by his family; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat. With a patchy black beard and wild black hair. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gomory embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. After a long history of fighting, Gomory and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His eyes are gray.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. After coming to the age of reason, Lewis took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He bought a warhammer and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Voice: Speaks with a cold

Description: An older man who very much looks the part of a Carter, he is not a threatening figure. He has a long brown beard with little hanging trinkets. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed tan hat.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he's in love

Voice: growls and snarls, animalistic

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his tan robe. His blonde hair, when down, is lengthy. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born into a rich family. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gomory never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy
