History: Simon was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born in the west to a Stylist, Aldous learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He tends to his Stylist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born in a small forest village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Roger took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up spear and armor he uses now. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.
