History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Richard was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Brewer. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Randal enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

History: Alex was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His parents enrolled him in a Commoner school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and sabotage a competitor
