History: Born in the east to a Carter, Thomas learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Thomas was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
