Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He works hard and plays hard.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: Born to a Bookbinder, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Hugh was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Dilettante. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: Norman is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: Norman was born with his father's beautiful face. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Norman alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has never given up on his writing dream.
Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
