Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shane does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shane was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Gardener born in the past three hundred years. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Gardener business.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has achieved small success as a Gardener.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: He is a Metallic Dragon in disguise. Gomory was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fisher. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born to a Slave Trader, his mother struggled to pay the bills. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Thomas's homeland. Thomas decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
