Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears a yellow vest and prefers black and red shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. With bright red hair and a scraggly beard. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Ralf hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Revenge.

Description: This man wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized sapphire on his right hand. His brown hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His silver hair is matted, messy, and big. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.
