History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. After coming to the age of reason, Don took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
