History: Born in the west to a Ruler, Shane learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ruler for the past few years.

He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Conrad was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure
