The war was a terrible time for him, and Gerard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Gerard has worked very hard to control his curse. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Jocelyn was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Performer. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Everard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Everard was born the youngest of three triplets. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bookbinder born in the past three hundred years. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
