Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Everard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miner for the past few years.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miner and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
