History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Theodoric wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Through the years after Theobald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Theobald's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
