Personality: Shane speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.
