Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Arnold was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roger embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Roger was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. After a long history of fighting, Roger and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Adelard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and money/treasure

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Patrick lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shoemaker. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
