History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Through the years after Heward was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Heward's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Lance liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Norman lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
