History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerald grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Anthony lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
