History: Norman was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
