Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and wants to work out more often

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many pastel ritualistic tattoos. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His black hair is unkempt and raggedy. His ears are large.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Kody alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a grey costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso, and is pretty ugly. He keeps his golden hair in a pixie cut. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker grey hat.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Arnold was born the youngest of three triplets. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Merchant and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has achieved small success as a Performer.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
