History: Born in the north to a Spy, Gerard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Spy.

History: Wymar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Guard who has hired him part-time. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he is content

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
