Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Baker. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gunter is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Charles abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
