History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Chad and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Chad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Chad was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bellfounder. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Brewer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A freak accident while working with his Bookbinder father left him crippled. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To be a Guard again; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
