History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Hubert took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hubert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: The child of a Bather, who enjoyed hunting, Alex was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gifted student he started as a Bather, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He bought a nunchaku and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
