History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lance grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gunter does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
