History: Born in the south to a Cartwright, Cory learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He's also a talented Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears dull brown sweaters, loose yellow pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed pickaxe, just in case. He has dyed his greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Miles was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and expand his business

Description: He stands about 6'3" and wears long strands of amber and short tan dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. Roland is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'8". He dresses like a well dressed Carpenter does, and his gloved hand is found clutching a sword. His hair is cut close to his head. He has brown eyes and a blue hat with a black feather.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Roger isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Roger lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Barber, but he got bored and became a Carpenter. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He wears skinny pants and wears a violet and blue robe with the hood down, and carries greatswords. His golden hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
