Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Hubert hails from a village terrorized by giants. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Hubert and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Manfred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and balancing his hectic life and new sellsword responsibilities is difficult
