History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His childhood dream was to be a Shoemaker, but he was a colossal failure. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Performer. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Bertram took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up kukri and armor he uses now. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
