History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Being a Interpreter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
