Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Adelard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
