Description: He wears long strands of amber and short green dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. He keeps his auburn hair in a flapper bob. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Slave Trader business.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting brigands, the young Miles began to lead the lost caravan. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and he wants revenge against brigands

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Theobald's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Tanner but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Blacksmith, but he got bored and became a Tanner. He has achieved small success as a Tanner.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends
History: Randal lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Stylist, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
