History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Percival grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Crown-heir, but he got bored and became a Shipwright. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
