Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Diggory lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Knight, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
