History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Manfred alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Manfred was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his warhammer with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears long strands of opal and short green dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, and a wedding ring on his right hand. He sports a flattop hair cut. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Description: Standing 5'10", this man dresses like a well dressed Engraver does. His hair is blonde, silky, and of moderate length. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born in the north to a Engraver, Clerebold learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He carries with him a set of flails on his belt, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. A true patriot, Roger would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Roger's homeland. Roger decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
