Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. He has auburn hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: He was raised in a desert tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Ralf took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears professional attire. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Armorer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: He was born into a rich family. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

Description: He is lean but muscular and dresses well, wearing white shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. He is baby faced.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Hugh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: He stands about 5'5" and is well dressed, constantly wearing a grey suit, black shirt, and pastel tie. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. A true patriot, Everard would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Everard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
