History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears baggy blue pantaloons and a green scarf. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is cut close to his head. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He struck the Mortician job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was taken from his home at a very young age. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and doesn't want to be a dyer and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Adelard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
