History: He was born in the west. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. John was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

History: Dean was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miller work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Miller job and began his own company from there.

History: Jocelyn was born with his mother's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was born in the east. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and retire the richest man in the east
