Ralf Kendall, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing blue cape and mantle trimmed with soft tan waves gently in the breeze. He is physically well-built. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bather arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He found a children's book about a Human Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he's looking for his big break
Ideals: Artistic. Flaws: Disease. Bonds: Rich, Slave, Adventurer. Occupation: Bather
Voice: Complex vocabulary, royal

Adelard Ashton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and is wearing a long, red, dusty cloak. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His tied-back hair is silver. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He struck the Fortune-teller job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and money/treasure
Ideals: Opinionated. Flaws: Ugly, PTSD. Bonds: Rich, Job, Nature. Occupation: Fortune-teller

Gilbert Barney, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to unite with his brother
Ideals: Athletic, Optimist. Flaws: Impulsive. Bonds: Attractive, Family. Occupation: Blacksmith
